The Bass Coast Shire have generously donated $2,000 to be allocated towards prize money that will be awarded for points received from the three swim-run events to be held locally this summer.
The Bass Coast Summer Series consists of:
Cape Aquathon
Third Sunday of January
(400m swim/3.5km run)
Channel Challenge
coming dates to be confirmed
(500m swim/2km run)
Cowes Classic
coming dates to be confirmed
(500m swim/4km run)
$250 will be given to the series winners for these eight categories:
OPEN Senior (18+) Female
OPEN Senior (18+) Male
OPEN Junior (U/18) Female

LOCAL Junior (U/18) Female

Points will be allocated for both participating in each event (5 points) and for finishing positions (1-20) in the relevant category.
